Mr. Prannoy will face France’s Christo Popov in the next round, while Ms. Sindhu will face 20-year-old Indonesian Putri Kusuma Wardani, who was a member of the gold-medal winning team at the 2022 Asia Team Championships.
Kidambi Srikanth will compete against Hong Kong’s Lee Cheuk Yiu on Thursday. Mithun Manjunath will face Chia Hao Lee of Chinese Taipei, while Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, the second seeded men’s pairing, will face Fang-Chih Lee and Fang-Jen Lee of Taiwan.
