During their tenure, Ganguly-Shah made three major decisions:

    1. Pink-Ball Test: India had never hosted a pink-ball Test, whereas the other nations did on a regular basis. The then-Indian captain, Virat Kohli, was opposed to playing pink-ball Tests, but Ganguly-Shah made it happen. In 2019, India hosted Bangladesh in a Pink-ball Test at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. It was a historic occasion, and Bangladesh Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina was also present. India went on to win by an innings and 49 runs over Bangladesh.
      1. While most nations were unable to play cricket due to Covid, Ganguly and Shah developed special bio-bubbles for players and held two IPLs during that time. The tournament was moved to the United Arab Emirates in November, but it still took place. The IPL returned to its original location the following year, and it was also a success.
        1. Increase in Salaries for Domestic Cricketers: This was widely applauded in cricket circles. Previously, domestic players were not paid well, but that has changed.
