    Women’s cricket has seen a lot of effort, and it’s showing in their performance Ganguly penned.
    The decision comes just days after the BCCI AGM decided that the first season of the women’s IPL will take place in 2023.

    Since the team finished runners-up in the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup, there has been a surge in interest in Indian women’s cricket. Since then, the team has reached the T20 World Cup final in 2020 and won silver at the Commonwealth Games in 2022.
    The New Zealand Cricket Board made a similar decision earlier this year, announcing that the women’s national team and domestic women’s players will be paid the same match fees as men.
