A 13-year-old domestic worker who had been subjected to horrible torture over the previous few months was rescued from her employer’s Gurugram home late last evening, according to the police.According to officials, the Jharkhand-born girl was found with injuries all over her body and has since been sent to a hospital for care.It has been learned that doctors are also examining her medically to determine whether or not she has experienced sexual assault.She was not given food for days. The teen used to eat leftover food from the dustbin, an official said.The girl was rescued by the police following a complaint filed by a Gurugram-based NGO. The NGO contacted police after a Twitter thread on the girl’s condition by an activist went viral yesterday.
