Recently a major project of Airbus and a consortium of Tata firms have chosen Vadodara in Gujarat as the site for the 22,000 crore project, The opposition in Maharashtra has started blaming the ruling government for whether they are right or not ? In some sense they are and in some they are not.
Courtesy: PGurusWhy they are correct because it is the second largest project after Vedanta Foxconn semiconductor project, which too moved to Gujarat, there must be too red tapism or lack of attention or improper governance maybe involved which has resulted in a loss of such a big project and Maharashtra government should give some proper thoughts as of why they are reacting late to such situation like when Vedanta Foxconn has signed MoU with Gujarat government Maharashtra CM wrote a letter to shift their project to Maharashtra and same with the airbus project where Nitin Gadkari(MP from Nagpur)wrote letter to Tata chairman to shift their project to Nagpur but the reaction was late. But in some sense shifting a project from one state to another is not a big deal, the big deal is it will create a job for India. However after losing two back to back projects the Maharashtra government should give a thought to the problem and should not repeat the same mistakes made earlier.
