Kali Jo Scott, a 37-year-old from Denton, Texas, was expecting her twins to arrive in the second week of 2023. However, her visit on December 29 indicated that she had to be admitted to keep a check on her blood pressure.
On December 31st, the first child, Annie Jo, was born at 11.55 p.m. Soon, after 6 minutes, the second baby, Effie Rose was born on January 1 at 12.01 a.m. The mother feels that this will be a very unique birthday story for her girls and that both of them will get to have individuality.
We had joked at that point that once we realised that we weren’t going to leave the hospital without babies, that wouldn’t be funny. We had a couple friends who said the same thing, and then it ended up happening that way, said the mother. Both girls will get to celebrate differently, as one will be celebrating New Year’s Eve with a bang and the other will get to start fresh in the New Year. The chance of this occurrence is 1 in 2 million! The couple is very happy and feels special to have such a story to tell! What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments.
