The second message is to Russia that the West is united in its opposition to Russia and that the US is still determined to help Ukraine for as long as it takes. Although Biden continues to back Ukraine, it is unlikely that he will send combat jets as requested by Ukraine because doing so would intensify the conflict. He won’t even endanger American life to save Ukraine.
The final message is addressed at US partners in the West, where there are significant disagreements about the course that the war will take and how to support Ukraine going forward.

The Bucharest 9 (Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia) and the United Kingdom are lobbying for increased economic aid and military support for Ukraine, but Old Europe Germany and France are less willing to do so.
A year into the conflict is a fair moment to evaluate its impact on world geopolitics. It is clearly obvious that the US overestimated its might. Several nations, including a number of friends and important partners, have disobeyed American directives and sanctions against Russia. For instance, India has adopted a brave, impartial stance on the conflict, defying Western pressure for the sake of its own national interests.Similarly, Tu00fcrkiye, Saudi Arabia and Israel (despite all being US allies) have stood up to the US.
Russia hasn’t made the progress it desired or anticipated. Due to the war’s impact on commodities prices, the international economy, which was already suffering from the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, has contracted during the past year. We seem to be witnessing the birth pangs of a new world order; the Russian invasion of Ukraine has only precipitated this process.
