Actor Mushtaq Khan, known for *Welcome* and *Stree 2*, was kidnapped on the Delhi-Meerut highway in a shocking incident. The actor was lured with a fabricated invitation to an award ceremony in Meerut. Upon arrival in Delhi, he was abducted and taken to a secluded location near Bijnor.

The kidnappers tortured him for 12 hours, demanding a ransom of ₹1 crore. They managed to withdraw ₹2 lakh from his and his son’s bank accounts. In a dramatic escape, Khan fled upon hearing the morning azaan and sought help at a nearby mosque. Local residents assisted him in contacting the police, who are now investigating the case.
