The Congress and BJP are embroiled in a controversy over documents linked to Jawaharlal Nehru, allegedly removed from the Prime Ministers’ Museum and Library (PMML) during Sonia Gandhi’s tenure in 2008. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has accused Congress of withholding historically significant letters, including those Nehru wrote to figures like Edwina Mountbatten and Jayaprakash Narayan, raising concerns about transparency and public access to these documents.

    Historian Rizwan Kadri, a PMML Society member, has written to Sonia Gandhi, urging her to return or provide copies of these papers, which were originally donated to the museum.
