Wrestler Bajrang Punia made the following statement during wrestlers’ protest against WFI at Jantar Mantar: We are going to meet the officials of the Union Sports Ministry and will inform the media about it soon after the meeting concludes.
    Wrestlers continued their sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi earlier on Thursday, demanding action against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief and other officials over allegations of sexual exploitation of several athletes. Champion wrestler and BJP leader Babita Phogat had earlier arrived at the protest site.I’ve told them the government is on their side. After addressing the group, Babita Phogat declared, I’ll strive to make sure that their problems are remedied today.
